In October, many of the neighborhood’s attractive historic homes open their doors to the public for the Belmont-Hillsboro Home Tour. The neighborhood’s landmark properties include Belmont Mansion, a striking 1850s property with elements of Greek Revival and Italianate architectural influences. Guided tours are offered daily. Nearby 12 South features one of the most attractive historic parks in Nashville. Sevier Park is a gorgeous oasis of greenery surrounding the elegant 1850s Sunnyside Mansion. Sevier Park hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including May’s Sevier Park Fest, the annual 12 South Concert Series, and the weekly 12 South Farmers’ Market.
