From the creators of the Asian-inspired, wood-fired restaurant Noko comes Kase x Noko, an intimate, 14-seat omakase and four-seat Japanese cocktail bar, the smallest in both Nashville and Tennessee. Nestled in East Nashville’s Eastwood neighborhood, Kase offers a unique experience with a 14-course tasting menu led by Chef Owner Dung “Junior” Vo. The menu features a rotating selection of handcrafted nigiri and hand rolls, made with seafood flown in daily from around the globe, including Japan, Hawaii, Spain, and New Zealand.
The restaurant’s striking plateware is a collaboration with Nashville’s Zane Ceramics studio, designed and glazed by Vo himself. Before or after your meal at Kase, guests can enjoy a drink at the cozy, four-seat cocktail bar, which evokes the charm of Tokyo’s classic cocktail lounges. The bar serves a premium selection of whiskey, sake, and Japanese-inspired cocktails such as the Princess Ichigo, Kyoto Garden, and Letter from the Emperor, along with a non-alcoholic beverage program.
Designed by The Restaurant Studio, Kase's intimate omakase setting embraces the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, blending the rich culture of Japan with timeless luxury. The space offers a serene and welcoming atmosphere, combining modern elegance with dark, moody natural elements, from textured ceramics to locally sourced woods.
Art plays a key role in Kase’s design, with walls adorned with Gyotaku (Japanese fish-printing art) by Dwight Hwang, adding a distinctive touch to the space.
